Motorcycle Training Sites

Academy of Safe Motorcycling has training sites in Bournemouth, Poole, and New Milton, serving Christchurch New Milton, Lymington and other New Forest areas, enabling us to deliver our high quality Motorcycle Training for customers from a wide area.

We have two Bournemouth sites. Our Headquarters site is at the Bournemouth Electric Sports and Social Club at Broadway Lane (off Castle Lane West, about half a mile from Castlepoint) allowing us to conduct Compulsory Basic Training 7 days a week. The other, the Bishop of Winchester Comprehensive School (just behind the retail park opposite Castlepoint) is large enough to accommodate the off-road elements of Module 1 of the new motorcycle test so that test trainees can receive instruction and practice part one of the new test in total safety as many times as is necessary in order to achieve the standard required.

Our Poole site, Branksome Heath Middle School (just off the main shopping area Ashley Road in Parkstone) has two large areas where we can safely conduct Compulsory Basic Training as well as being large enough to accommodate the off-road elements of Module 1 of the new motorcycle test.

Our New Milton site, The Arnewood School which is located on the main road between Walkford, Christchurch and New Milton also has two large areas for conducting Compulsory Basic Training and may well be used for test training in the future dependant on demand.

We provide your helmet, motorcycle jacket with protective armour, waterproof trousers should the need arise, and your training bike which is all included in the cost of your training. If you prefer, you can do your training on your own machine (which must be road worthy, display a current Tax Disc, be insured and have all relevant paperwork which will be needed on the day for verification). You are encouraged to bring and wear your own riding gear if you already have it. Please see the maps below of how to get to our sites.
