DAS Test Pass

I rode Vespas and mopeds for years but had a break of ten years from two wheels and recently had the opportunity to get back into motorcycling. Having taken my CBT regrettably with another school, it became apparent that I really needed extra training in order to feel safe and stay safe on a bike - I felt that CBT on its own was woefully inadequate for today's crowded highways. So I did a little web searching and happened across Academy of Safe Motorcycling website. I was impressed with what I read, and the professionalism of the instructors. After successfully passing my theory I booked in as soon as I could for DAS. The quality of the tuition was second to none, and although the prospect of riding a bike that had nearly the same cc's as my old Smart car had was a little daunting to say the least, the guys had me confident in no time and I passed Part One first time, and a few days later passed Part Two first time as well!. I heartily recommend ASM; I feel far more competent and confident with my riding than ever before and although I am still learning I have an excellent grounding in the necessary skills to stay alive. My driving skills have also improved, so a great result all round.  Fab cups of tea and quality banter make this a fun experience. Go for it. Thanks for a great experience and a good start on the long road ahead.

 The New Modular Test - NO PROBLEM !

There has been a lot of negative publicity in the motorcycle press and also on national television regarding the new Module 1 test and concerns for the safety of the trainees on the measured speed manoeuvres. ASM takes these concerns very seriously and whatever the long term results of continuing lobbying by trainers such as us and biking support organisations, we all have to accept that if you want a bike licence then we have to just go for it.

We were well prepared before the start date and have local facilities for training the new test that are second to none...

"For anyone thinking of taking any sort of bike training, I could not recommend Academy highly enough. From CBT to DAS, this is the place. Chris conducted my CBT, and I realised that I knew nothing! Rob trained me for my DAS, and I have just passed my module one with a clean sheet. This I put down to Rob's teaching style, and combined with his sense of humour, doesn't make anything too heavy but still gets the message across. Many thanks to both Rob and Chris for all your help, I'm looking forward to my module two now! Cheers"

"The manoeuvres elements of the DAS was a daunting prospect for me before I began training with Chris and Rob at ASM.  There are a lot of rumours and horror stories out there reference the Module One test, however these are soon dispelled and it does not take long before you are made to feel more confident and prepared for the Module One test with the unique tuition given by the instructors of ASM.  Despite my nerves I passed my Module One first time. I felt fully prepared before my test and would recommend this training school to anyone.  If you are looking for professional, relaxed and overall effective motorcycle training then ASM is the school for you".
